A celebration of the River Avon with music, food and activities for all
Saturday 20th July 2024 10am-4.00pm King George’s Field, Pershore
The festival is organised by Avon Navigation Trust, in collaboration with Pershore Riverside Youth Centre, Bell Boat Regatta, and Pershore Football Club. It will feature a variety of water and land-based activities, plus a full day programme of music acts.
Activities Include:
On the Water
- The 2024 Wychavon Games Bellboat Regatta Open to all, enter a team of 8 and beat your mates!
- Boat trips on the River Avon
- Have a go sessions on Kayaks and Paddleboards
- Floating River Avon Waterways Centre
- River rescue demonstrations
- Best dressed boat competition
- Marine Uniformed Boat Parade
On the land
- Full music programme – live acts alternating on two stages and two busking spots
- Football and Tennis activities
- Indoor Craft Fair
- Outdoor traders market, charity and food stalls
- Funfair rides
- Inflatable fun for all ages – bouncy castle and sumo wrestling
- Children’s activities (crafts, face painting, games)
- Wildlife displays and activities
- Indoor café and cake shop at the Riverside Centre and outdoor bar at Football Club
- Raffle with a range of fabulous prizes donated by local businesses
