A celebration of the River Avon with music, food and activities for all
Saturday 18th July 2026 10am-4.00pm King George’s Field, Pershore
The festival is organised by Pershore Riverside Youth Centre, supported by, Avon Navigation Trust – Your friendly local waterway, The Bell Boat Regatta, and Pershore Football Club. It will feature a variety of water and land-based activities, plus a full day programme of music acts for all to enjoy.

Activities Include:

On The Water
- Boat trips with the Avon Navigation Trust (ANT)
- The 2026 Wychavon Games Bell Boat Regatta Open to all, enter a team of 8 and beat your mates!
- Have a go sessions on Kayaks and Paddleboards
- Maritme Volunteer Service Uniformed Fly Past
- ‘Come and Try’ canoeing with Wychavon Kayak & Canoe Club

On The Land
- Sister Rivers Naming Ceremony – River Avon & River Nene
- Music from local bands
- Outdoor traders market, charity stalls
- Food and Drink from local suppliers
- Funfair rides
- Inflatable fun for all ages – bouncy castle and sumo wrestling
- Children’s activities (crafts, face painting, games)
- Indoor café and cake shop at the Riverside Centre
- Luxurious Raffle with a range of fabulous prizes donated by local businesses
- Magician
- Multiple Workshops on River Pollution and Wildlife
- Drumlove Workshops
